At Marston’s, we care about our teams, our operators and our customers, and so we place people at the heart of everything we do, We currently have an exciting and unique opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Estates Department Project Administration Team on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract. The team provides in house administration support for our field based Project Management team and you would play an integral part in delivering this investment programme alongside the wider team into our pub estate.

This challenging role would be an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives when working within a busy team, and enjoys a variety of tasks. It can also act as a mechanism for further progression within the team for anyone wishing to pursue a career in Project Management.

Key Attributes & Responsibilities:

  • Provide office based, administrative support for our field based Project Managers, Surveyors and in house Designers.
  • Maintain, update, prepare and distribute key information and documentation.
  • Update a variety of databases relating to Marston’s property portfolio.
  • Liaison with Internal Departments and external consultants in relation to the ongoing Development programme.
  • Access and maintain information on a variety of systems
  • Liaise with our 3rd party contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects
 The Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent administrative skills, with experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Computer literate, having a sound working knowledge of Power Point, Microsoft Excel and Word and can demonstrate proficiency in producing spreadsheets.
  • Previous experience dealing with SAP would be beneficial
  • Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to develop and learn new skills.
  • Works in a systematic and organised way and manages time effectively, always meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates a high standard of attention to detail within their work
  • Is able to work with minimum supervision, or as part of a team when necessary
  • Is self-motivated, possessing a can do attitude
