The Role:

As Area Operations Manager for the South region you’ll be responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring a team of General Managers to deliver the brands strategic vison, reporting and working collaboratively with the Director of Operations as well as working alongside other central support teams including Marketing, Training, Recruitment and Finance.

Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, who can influence, inspire and motivate a group of high performing General Managers and their teams to achieve their full potential.

We’re looking for an energetic and passionate Area Manager who is enthusiastic about people, driving performance, developing our brand and always exceeding expectations. Creating an outstanding guest experience will be at the heart of what you do every day and it’s important that you share our beliefs and standards for excellence to enable us to deliver fantastic results. In short, we want an enterprising go-getter who’ll help us continue to grow our Premium part of the business.

Key Attributes & Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L responsibility for a set of pubs (some with hotel accommodation), with a focus on driving sales and delivering great customer service and satisfaction every time
  • Achieving all KPIs both financial and people focused
  • Develop and grow your team through effective and inspiring leadership capability
  • Continually ensuring the highest standards are always achieved, operating in a safe and legal environment
  • Working closely and collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate:

- You will be an experienced Area Manager, leading multiple businesses in either retail, leisure or hospitality

- Be able to demonstrate enviable P&L success
- Committed to delivering operational excellence
- Have
 proven success stories in developing people
- Strong drive to inspire, motivate and engage others, celebrating the successes of your team
- Ability to dream big by driving and maximising commercial opportunities
