The Ye Olde Red Lion is a wonderful 16th Century Coaching Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic town of Market Bosworth. Just a short walk from the bustling market square and just over 2 miles from Bosworth Battlefield heritage centre-which has recently been nominated for a ‘Visit England’ award.
Inside the pub you’ll find its original working fireplace- perfect for creating that cosy atmosphere in the cooler months. Traditional homecooked food is served daily and the pub can cater for up to 72 covers. The coaching Inn also boasts 5 letting bedrooms upstairs; 3 doubles, 1 twin all en-suite, and 1 single. Outside the Inn, there is a seating area, small patio, and covered area with a car park to the side.
The pub is currently trading around £10,500 on wet, there is potential for further wet sales equalling £10,000 – £12,000 per week, and a further £2k on food and with renovation of the rooms to utilise all 5 instead of the current 2 increasing the income to circa £30k. We are looking for an experienced Licensee to take this historic pub.
